Erin: Owner, Baker, Potter, Creator & More
I grew up in CT and am a Culinary Institute of America alumni. Bon Vivant is a name I considered since taking a business class in High School and refers to a person who appreciates the finer things in life, particularly when it comes to food and drink. Not only do I love both of those things, but I also enjoy learning as much as I can about where they come from in my travels.
I love learning new art forms and try to expand in my craft(s) each year. I’ve been baking since age three, and was the only kid in my cake decorating classes at JoAnn Fabrics growing up. As for pottery, that was something I revisited as an adult when trying to navigate the grief of losing a family member during the pandemic. I haven’t stopped working with clay since and have only added to the list in the years that followed.
I love coming up with new ideas and bringing them to life especially when it comes to making things you can use and enjoy every day in your homes. I believe that learning new things is what keeps your mind fresh for years to come. I’m hoping to begin offering classes in the near future, so stay tuned!
David: The best partner around, who may not have signed up for this but helps with everything from shipping orders to setting up at markets to getting things down from high places for me. He also dabbles in the stained glass efforts from time to time after taking the class too! Most of all he helps with moral support and the occasional need to remind me not to bite off so much more than I can chew. Dave’s my fav for sure.
